Thereafter, he became a full time songwriter and record producer: touring the world club and festival circuit as lead singer of critically acclaimed, alternative rock group Jetplane Landing (2001-present).

In 2007 he established Smalltown America, an independent record label and artist management group in order to “cultivate a self-sustainable business model through which artists can release the best records they can possibly produce.” Smalltown America will release its hundredth title in 2011 and has released music by over 150 artists. "ExposeYourMuse" Midem festival compilation CD

http://www.musicxray.com/profiles/1141

Publicmuse will produce a compilation Audio CD called "ExposeYourMuse" opportunity consisting of original music only. Their goal is to showcase original music only from artists worldwide, thus the CD's will be showcased and distributed at the biggest and most known worldwide exhibition organization called "Midem" held in Cannes of France to hundreds of licensors, distributors, record companies, publishers, media agents, radio/ TV stations and other professionals in early 2011.

For two Music Xray Artists that we specially select we will waive the fees. For the rest of the artists who are accepted please read these terms: Accepted artists are asked to pay a 149$ non-refundable fee per song basis with a maximum of three songs per artist (15% reduction for the second song and 25% for the third). As Publicmuse's only gain is a portion of this fee, they are not involved in any licensing deals that might occur and all licensing and publishing rights will be retained by the artist, songwriter / author. Five CD copies will be sent to the artist on a per-song basis, so an artist participating with two songs will get ten CD copies. All CD's will be professionally mastered and manufactured.

No CD's will be sold, and “Not for sale” will be printed largely and clearly on the CD's and on the covers. Any worldwide interested parties will be instructed to contact the artists directly. Thus there will be no compensation for publishing or any other rights and all participants will be asked to fully understand and sign to that.

Regarding their last opportunity, there were some cases where parcels got lost in the mail, so Publicmuse would greatly appreciate it if all participants would contact them around the 15th of April to verify that they received their copies. All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation.

James Grover has been producing and songwriting for the last 5 years, working with many underground acts in many genres across the UK (Broadway's Not Ready, ninepoundnote, Three Days Later, Chucky NoSTARS, Student69, 3 Storeys High, Best Of Enemies, Waving At Strangers)

For the last 18 months he has been writing for his own solo pop/dance record, and is now professionally writing and producing for other upcoming pop/R&B artists.
