Play at the World Unlimited Music Room

The Music Room showcase, put on by World Unlimited, is offering three 30-minute performance slots with the artists receiving £25 for their performances.

Every third Sunday of the month will be the dates for the performances starting in January 2011. Supporting slots are also sometimes available. We are accepting artists from a wide variety of genres but mainly roots, folk, singer songwriter, nu-folk, global etc, the Music Room is for acoustic sets.

The Music Room is a 90 capacity venue with a fantastic atmosphere. Some of our past artists who've played the Music Room in the past include Scott Matthews, Max Gilkes, Nizlopi, Jo Hamilton, Kings Of Spain, The Old Dance School, Thomas Dybdhal and Red Shoes.

The shows will be heavily promoted so this is a great exposure opportunity for those who are selected. We produce 5000 full colour monthly World Unlimited flyers plus posters along with over a 150 alerts to the media, as well as all full internet listings and social media networks such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Worlde Unlimited's extensive emailing lists.

We are a voluntary not for profit organization who've been promoting in Birmingham since 1989, our patron for our 20th anniversary year is Seth Lakeman.

Torrez Music Group is highly connected and accepts songs to listen to for pitch opportunities in Nashville. Alex Torrez was born and raised in Floydada, TX. Growing up in that part of Texas Alex was surrounded by the spirit and vibrations of such pop music pioneers as Buddy Holly, Bob Montgomery, Waylon Jennings and many others. Alex discovered his natural talent as a drummer at a very young age playing throughout his teens at parties, festivals and clubs emerging as one of the most sought after drummers in the area. They will deal with all the problems that may come your way, such as making sure that payment arrives on time, making sure that the contracts are correct and signed, making sure your diary does not clash with events booked.
