Morris Temple entered the music business in the early 1980s as an engineer working on records by The Guards, John Wessex Jr., The Collins and No! amongst others. However it was after disco that he came into his own as a producer working on records by Cock Busters, Generation XYZ, ETC, 666 and the Wankers.

In the early 1990s he started his own record label Generic, which was going to sign the new rock acts Notorious, Ultravoice and Pankow Dancer, but problems at their parent record company scuppered that plan. More recently, Morris worked with the successful writer/producer team Muller and Patton on a number of projects around the world.

Morris is well connected around the globe and now active as a producer/engineer and A&R filter for major record companies and movie production companies, he seeks quality songs in every genre for major artists as well as movie and tv opportunities.

Accepting Submissions for "HIT Rock Songs" with Strong Hooks

http://www.musicxray.com/profiles/944

A Successful Music Publisher is looking for "HIT Rock Songs" with strong hooks -- that would be good for a young Rock Band, Ages 11-12. There are two lead singers, one male and one female. This isn't your typical Kid band that you think would be all Disney, Pop, Mickey-Mouse type songs. This band needs songs with teeth. NO LOVE SONGS as they are only 12! Think back to when you were that age and some of the difficult things you had to deal with and you wanted to express yourself, but maybe at the time you didn't know how. These kids can express themselves through the music but they need help finding the songs. Their influences include "Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Cream, Rolling Stones, The Who, etc..." As for vocal range, they are young so think the same range as Sting (though they don't sound like Sting)...avoid the low range of singing. The ideal demo would have a kid singing on it, but its not necessary.

Incorporated Elements is seeking artists to pitch to labels and songs to license for film and television.

With Three Grammy nominations and several million albums sold, Incorporated Elements is quite possibly one of the best production teams that you’ve NEVER heard of. With his humble beginnings as a DJ/producer for the underground rap group, Grits, Incorporated Elements’ founder, Ric “DJ Form” Robbins grew in popularity as albums he worked on began to sell more and more with each release. He has now worked on over 75 albums as a producer, writer, DJ, musician, or programmer. Incorporated Elements has also had tracks and songs featured in over 500 television shows, movies, advertisements, and video games, including the feature films, “Something’s Gotta Give” with Jack Nicholson, “Spanglish” with Adam Sandler, “The Perfect Man” with Hilary Duff, “Big Momma’s House 2” with Martin Lawrence, “Fast And Furious Tokyo Drift”, and more. They seem to have an uncanny ability to know how to make music that fits with visuals like a movie or TV scene, commercial, or a video game.

Tip of the Week: For best results on Music Xray,

Our Song Presentation packs are called "Music Xrays" and they enable music industry professionals to see all the relevant information about you and your songs.

Notice that the song search bar at the top of almost every page of our site enables people to search for songs based on song lyrics? It only works if you've entered your lyrics in the song lyrics module for each of you songs.

The same is true for every other module. If you don't include your email address in the License module no one who stumbles upon your song will know how to reach you.

Did you know that you can group your songs together, re-order them and make them look however you want with our new EPKs? Take a look at a good example of one here.
