I just love your music Hollis, it takes me to much better places, beautiful.....You're Still Here is an amazing song my friend....Kudos!!! Love it much:)
Thanks for the bio details Hollis and I so agree music and all sincerely expressed art allows us to transcend which is what you're doing in the songs you've created and shared with us on this global indie DIY platform. I've been here for over a decade and found so many unique artists sharing useful songs - together we evolve guided by our art and brave artists - happy days creating us forward Hollis and brand new day is so forward connective - thank you : )
Hi Mario. Thanks for reading my bio and you seem to get where I'm coming from with my varied styles of writing, much like yourself. Thanks for reaching out and listening.
Thanks Dawn. Yeah, in the end I gave up trying to work out what that 'fuzz' was! I switched every vocal effect off one by one. Unless you mean the fuzzy bass effect which I deliberated, but thought it was different and it added tension .
"This Is My Home" speaks to the world, a message of reality, frailty and the delicate balance we all must endure for the most basic of human needs to be fulfilled. Love. A constant battle against forces greater than us individually, but collectively, through our music and art, songs such as yours Hollis, we can change the world with the gifts we're given, speak up, fight back, level the playing field and spread peace. Powerful songs and words my friend, keep singing to the world, you've affected mine wonderfully, let it be contagious, you have a wonderful gift my brother! Thank you:)....Anthony
Thanks very much Anthony. That's a powerful comment on many levels. I know you know where I'm coming from. It's the 21st century and I find it hard to believe we are top of the food chain! Thanks for your support
Thank you Zon Key. It's outrageous. It will take generations to repatriate and rebuild their country. They have done nothing to deserve this level of aggression.
