Joe,
That is great playing; beautiful, soft, stylish and coming from a piano player who picked up bits of the Floyd Cramer style adding it to Teddy Redell, Jerry Lee Lewis and my own before they all came into my music life. The late Floyd Cramer and I were friends and I got to visit him at RCA in Nashville or we would entertain the kids in the piano room on holidays. Actually I learned more of the Floyd Cramer touch from Jack Nance who was Conway Twitty's drummer in the early days...Jack is on some of my Bill Black produced record songs we did in Memphis about 1965. Jack went on to work with Dick Clark and the Jackson Five. He would bring those legends into Little Rock occasionally and I would try to meet as many as I could. I am listening to Rain...very nice. I wish I could play better in the jazzy-pop-classical styles. Thanks for fanning me. Best Wishes, Roy
