Master Pianist & Synthesist Gregg Fox has just launched a new epic project, the "Renaissance Rock Orchestra." RRO is a powerful classical rock ensemble centered around the keyboard prowess and musical skills of music maestro Gregg Fox.
The first release called "Johann Sebastian Rock" has been receiving rave reviews by fans and critics alike and features the drumming genius of Queensryche drummer Scott Rockenfield. Collaborating on the production of this song is vocalist and sometimes producer Paul Shortino from Quiet Riot/ King Kobra.
In this Orchestra, powerful keyboards are surrounded and supported by heavy rock guitars and drums. The music and its lyrical content are a humanistic revival of intellectual & artistic achievement expressed vigorously through rock music augmented with full string orchestration. RRO concerts will often include flamboyant costuming and theatrical presentations of common human themes to intensify and portray the emotion of the music and lyrics in a very involving and convincing presentation that draws the audience into the story and the music in a very profound way.
