I was scheduled to see The Alan Parsons Project at the Ryman Theater in downtown Nashville March, 2020. It was postponed due to the Corona virus outbreak. Will update when rescheduled and share the experience.

Steve Miller/Peter Frampton Show

July 23, 2018, went to see Steve Miller with Peter Frampton concert at Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tn. Great music, front row seat, and came home with three guitar picks from stage. First time to Opry. Great venue for music. First time for Frampton. Saw Miller back in the seventies with original band.

Steppenwolf 50th Aniversary Celebration

Aug. 4-6, 2017 went to Nashville, Tn to celebrate 50 years of Steppenwolf. Saw the concert at Ryman Auditorium. Great place to see a concert. So much history there. Met former band members and had a great time. Got a drum stick from performance to add to my memorabilia collection. (see photo section for pictures from event)

I'm Featured in New Song

Just listened to a new song by the band, A FRIEND CALLED FIRE, in which I am being featured in a line in the song. How awesome is that? The song titled. " NEVER TOO LATE" includes this line, ......... " Kentucky Kevin came to Chi-town just to see the "Next Great Fire." In some circles I'm known as The Kentucky Connection. So that's why I was referenced the way they did. The song will be included on their next album which is under construction. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Legends of Rock Concert

Went to see the show Friday night, Nov. 9, 2012, in a gymnasium with about 50 other people present. After a few trying moments with the sound people, they finally got it going and there was some great classic rock performed. Derek St. Holmes played some of his classic tunes he recorded as part of the Ted Nugent Band. Jimi Jamison came out and performed a couple of solo and "Survivor"(band) hit songs. Rick Bozzo, of "Meatloaf" and "Sabu" fame, accompanied both on bass. The three rock legends were supported by a host of local musicians. They also played some covers from such bands as the Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, and others. The local town music ordinance kicked in and the show had to be concluded around 11:15 p.m. But it was fun while it lasted.
