Keeping you posted

So here's the latest. The album was recorded in early January over the course of four days. We were able to track ten songs, for the most part live, at Gadgetbox studios in Santa Cruz. We worked with producer and studio owner Andy Zenczak who made us sound better than we thought was ever possible. We approached this project with a goal in mind to get 10 tracks, recorded as live as possible and we are ecstatic with the results. We really got some great performances and sounds out of everyone. We went back to mix the tracks in the beginning of February and that went very swimmingly as well. The whole project has been a blast from the start and we are beyond excited to share it with you all. There are still a number of steps before we can do that but we are having a lot of fun in the meantime as we navigate our way through this exciting process of making a record. We are looking at a mid-april, early may release date. We will be announcing a cd release show in the very near future. Anyways, in the mean time, we've got a number of shows coming up that we're excited about as we work on getting this album out. See you around!

New things

We are excited to announce that we will be recording at Gadgetbox studios in Santa Cruz in January. Should be a lot of fun and we can't wait to get in there and then eventually, release some professionally recorded music! Needless to say, we are really looking forward to it. Not exactly sure which, or how many songs we will be recording, but we'll keep you posted! Also, we're getting ready for our show on December 28th at Don Quixote's. Can't wait to see you all there. Rumor has it we will have music and merchandise for sale at the show. Also don't forget to check us out on KPIG's sunday morning show on December 19th. The legendary Bob Brosman will be hosting. If you've never heard of him, look him up on youtube, you will be amazed, I promise. Ok that's enough for now, peace out dudes and dudettes.

Blizzog

Some cool and not as cool things happening. Giants made it to the NLCS. Cool! It's starting to get a bit colder at night in Ben Lomond. Not cool! For us as musicians though, mostly cool stuff. Getting ready for some fun stuff this winter.(Don Q's Dec. 28th, be there!) Also trying to add some other shows in the meantime.Getting into a studio is also something we have on our brains which is very exciting. Nothing really to report on that front but definitely will keep you posted there. Other than that, writing, writing, writing etc. I figure if we keep writing eventually we'll come up with something decent right? Ok, my self esteem isn't that low, I am in fact quite proud of the music we're playing. However there's always room for improvement and that's what makes it so damned fun! Woo hoo! See you around. Thanks for stopping by.
