So, Jason, our bass player called us up Saturday morning, needing help with a pool party his Cover side project was unable to fulfill. So, like true brothers, and die hard rockers, we packed all our gear and PA and drove to Rocklin... Good lord, was it HOT... I felt as if my brain was hard boiled. But we sounded tight, everyone was thrilled we came out, and all went well. Next up, we will begin recording a three song, EP.... Our next tentative show will be November 07, at the Powerhouse Pub. It is a 98 rock Local Licks show... Look forward to seeing you all there!!!

We had our share of gremlins last Friday night, but the Pistol Pete's set went well. We are up to an hour set, which is crushing musically, and challenging vocally. We shared the stage with Geranimo and Irrelevant, which gave us little space, as there was no room to backline off stage, but we made the best of it, stacking cabs, and cramming kits in corners! Allen had a great night vocally, but, i do not think we got any video, unfortunately!! Greg broke a string, but had one of the quickest and smoothest guitar swaps ever, considering his extra guitar was still in its case, due to lack of space... During our last two songs, Jason's bass rig stopped working!! we were bummed1 but we played through, and Jay killed the backing vocals on our closer tune, Fade To Grey. We got the gear back to SoS central to find it was his Ricky that was acting up, so, we still have a bass rig!! Some other things happened, but i will not discuss these things yet. i need to give the venue some time to make things right before i begin.. if they choose not to, then you will get a great blog!!!
Thanks to Irrelevant, and Geranimo for inviting Skin of Saints out to showcase our music... Show number 4 done!! give us more!!!

Then, next week, preparing for our show in Auburn at Pistol Pete's, August 31,2012!!! Hope as many crazy fuckers show up as possible! Not only a first for the band- club gig not in the afternoon (javalounge, we love you guys!! ), but this is a show to help out the family of Sean Needham.... All proceeds go to help his widow and his kids.... This is important. Everyone needs help, especially after a trgedy in the family... We hope you can come out, enjoy live music from us, Geranimo and Irrelevant, with Jason Connely openingthe night... We will go on between 9-9:30...

So we just played a benefit for some good friends of the band on July 20th, and the response was Awesome! We have a sow scheduled on December 7th as well, but NEED shows!!
We are a new band, and as such, are looking to make a name. We need to get out there supporting some more established bands, helping them PACK clubs, and giving all of you 1000%!!! anyone who has seen us live thus far knows, we start strong, and end stronger! We leave it all on the stage, we never hold anything back from our crowd, and we love it loud!!!
If any local Sacramento bands need a top notch support act, that can deliver a show guaranteed to get the crowd on their feet, GIVE US A CALL!!!

i want to keep people updated on our status.... First, My god! thanks so much for everyone giving this project life and love!!! We are overwhelmed at the response our music has received in such a short time!
Rehearsals are going great! We are disseminating each song, and drilling the music into bite sized shards! We want our live shows to be EVENTS!! anything less, and we would feel as if we cheated you!
We are mixing another demo version of a new song, RAZORHEAD!! We should have it [posted for streaming next week, so please let us know if it is something you would love to hear live, in your car, or on your ears!!
Finally, Big shout out to Threatcon Radio for playing us on air and keeping our song, THINK in rotation!

Welcome to the new Skin of Saints Reverbnation Page! We are so stoked to share our music with everyone, and this site is a good place to get things done...
We are in the process of finishing our website, www.skin-of-saints.com - under construction-, as well as getting our press kit together and finalizing our set list. Having just added Jason Bailey, our great friend and co band mate from Another Dark Day, we are working to get out to a sacramento stage as soon as humanly possible... however, we don't want to short change any of our listeners, so we are going to make sure you all have the best heavy rock experience 5 bucks and a two drink minimum can buy!!!
