Hey! We’re back and ready to make some shit happen. I just got a root canal so my face hurts and i’m all swollen but for some reason i just felt the urge to get back on track and update you guys on what’s new with Phantom Twin. I’d like to start this post first by saying if you’re the type of person who hates going to the dentist because you’re scared of pain or nervous at all get the nitros, it totally relaxes you and actually makes the visit quite enjoyable. I haven’t been to the dentist in forever so my teeth are all sorts of jacked up. I had my first root canal and while i’m sore as hell right now, the whole process itself really wasn’t too bad. You’re teeth are important so take care of that shit…
So, back to music.
Chris, Nick , and I are a bunch of lazy boys. I gotta admit we haven’t really done much as of late. Everyone’s just busy living life and being content with being comfortable. I’ve gotten used to not playing shows and not staying up until 4am working on tracks in the studio, and not going anywhere. Just kidding this shit’s driving me crazy. We need to play a show asap and we’re actually almost done with a new track i’m sure you all will really enjoy. Things are just moving very slow right now and I’m ready to get our butts back into gear.
I picked up a new piece of equipment…
And lemme just say this thing is amazing!!! It’s called Maschine by native instruments and it has completely changed they way we create music. %90 of the track we’re working on now was created by this unit alone, I can’t wait for you guys to hear it! If you play music check out some of the videos on youtube of what this thing can do, and if you’ve got the extra cash i highly suggest making the investment.
What have you been listening to lately?
Some artists i’ve been enjoying are
Skrillex
and
Awolnation
Well, i guess that’s all for now. I miss you guys and hope to see your faces at a show here soon. I’m gonna get some more work done on that new track and hope to have it posted by next week. Much Love…

We've been entirely way too busy with life to focus on music. Totally makes me wanna cry. October was the month of love, with a wedding to be attended every week. bleh! Although one of those weddings was for our very own Nick Chappell so congrats Nick!
Anyways, we're back on track now and things are starting to move in the womb again. This week we've been hard at work on recording a track titled "Bringing It Down". We've laid down all the parts, and are mixing the track as we speak. Also, we sent out some press kits to several venues in Seattle to try and create a buzz up there. We have a possible show at The Mix in Seattle, more details on that later.
Last week Nick and I went up to Chop Suey to check out a new band we learned about called Viper Creek Club. If you haven't heard of these guys yet you will. I highly recommend checking out their video for "Eliza" a track off there debut album "Letters". Met up with them at the show super cool dudes, and were kind enough to give me a copy of their record. We hope to be playing shows with them in the future. That night we also heard two bands that deserve to be checked out as well and they are, Ladyfriend and Climber. Killer live show and amazing songs. Sorry Tacoma but Seattle has way better live shows than you do, but that's all, hope we're still friends.
Last but not least we've posted a few tracks to download for next to nothing here phantomtwin.bandcamp.com if you have a paypal account and want to help us out it would be greatly appreciated. All the money we receive from bandcamp will go directly towards the release of a full length album. (cos that shits expensive yo!) Love you guys.
Peace,
-B

We played our first gig on saturday august 21st @ jazzbones in tacoma. The show was amazing! we opened for semi precious weapons and the people seemed to respond really well to us. Now its time to get back in the studio and record the material we've been working on for the past few months. We wanna release an ep by november so keep your fingers crossed. So pumped!
