Hello, everyone! So as promised, we have some BIG news to announce tonight! It's a little too much for a post, so we figured we'd put it here. We don't blog very much at the current moment, but we might start doing it a little more. It actually makes life a little easier!
So on to the news. Ready? Ok, here it is. The big news is.... HA HA! No really, we'll tell you now. AGR is going to be playing The Pittsburgh Marathon this year!! That's right! On May 15th, at 7 AM, we'll be downtown in Pittsburgh playing to 18,000+ runners and 10,000+ onlookers! This is a HUGE event for us and we're really looking forward to getting to be a part of something so big! The Pittsburgh Marathon is a part of this city's identity. It's something everyone who lives here knows about, and odds are, they probably know someone who runs in it. It's a wonderful event that brings a LOT of people to the city, and we're gonna be right up in it! We're not sure of the details just yet, we'll be getting all of those closer to the race, but we'll keep you all posted as they come in! We want to invite all of you down to come spend the day with us! It's going to be a 6-7 hour event, so we'll be there for awhile. We're looking to make a day of it. We are inviting everyone we know to just come down, hang out, and chill for the day! There will be 60 bands throughout the race, so you won't have a shortage of entertainment, and that's not even including the race! So be sure to mark your calenders for that date, and come enjoy a beautiful May morning with AGR!
On to the next item of business! We just booked a show at The Roundhouse in Natrona Heights, PA for March 19th. As many of you know, this is one of our favorite stops. The Roundhouse is a wonderful place, home to some good pizza, good people, and it's also going to be the spot for our live footage from our upcoming music video! Since we're going back into the studio at the end of February, we decided we should have a bangin music video to go with these new bangin songs! So the night of our show, we'll have our crew there shooting the live footage for the video! The video will be done by our photography team, Kelly Patton Photography, and will contain more than just live footage. So be sure to be in attendance that night, as you will be featured in our first video from our upcoming cd! All of the live shots will be of us and the crowd and if you're in the crowd that night, you'll be in the video! We can't promise that everyone's face will be shown, but you will definitely be present in the video! We want ALL of our fans, old and young, to come out to this one and be a part of this very special occasion with us. This is the first video we've ever shot in this band and we want everyone who has helped us get this far, there with us that night! This video isn't about us, it's about all of you! In the beginning, we wrote the music for us and in hopes that there would be some people out there who enjoyed it. Now that we know there are people out there who enjoy it, we write our music for not only ourselves, but all of you too, and this video is no exception! So come out and be a part of the band that you helped bring to life! We hope to see you all there!
Also, we have one more big announcement, but we can't let this one out of the bag just yet. We will say that it will happen the same night of the Roundhouse show and that it involves you, our fans! More details as the show approaches, but we'll just leave it at, you definitely want to be there that night, for another good reason as well. You might have a chance to be a part of something really big, aside from the video! Ok, that's it. No more clues!

Big Happenings!

BIG SHOW IN JUNE!!
What's up, everyone? We just wanted to let you all know about our upcoming show at The Rex Theater on June 7th. We'll be playing with some really awesome bands! We'll be sharing the stage with Lovebettie and Kill the Drama, both from Pittsburgh. The headlining band of the evening will be A Friend Called Fire out of Chicago! You do not wanna miss this show! Setting us aside, this will still be a wonderful night or rock! Tickets are only $10 and this is an all ages event, so make sure you get your ticket soon! Wanna Make Some Money?
Hi there, everyone! We just wanted to announce something new we're doing for our show on April 17th at the Round House. We are giving our fans (or anyone else) an opportunity to make some money for themselves! To show that we appreciate you being our fans and all that you do to help us out, we want to help you out! So for this show, anyone who is interested in helping us sell tickets will get to keep a share of the money from the tickets! Each ticket sells for $5. You will get to keep $1 of every ticket that you sell! Now, we know you're probably thinking "One measly dollar! That's not even worth my time!" But is that the case? Think about it this way: Say you sell 20 tickets, which sounds like a lot, but really isn't that many, you'll make $20 just for talking to people! That's it! There's no manual labor involved, no back-breaking work, you don't even have to do an 8 hour shift! All you have to do is call your friends, see your friends, even just text your friends, and ask if they want to buy a ticket! The show will be a killer one and for all of you who were there last time, this should be the easiest money you ever made! You can attest to the fact that it's well worth the $5 to see the show! And if you planned on coming and want some friends to come with you, just sell them their tickets and you've just made some cash! Hell, you might've even just paid for your ticket! It's not like hitting the lotto, but it's our small way of saying "Thanks!" Hello all! Just dropping a line to let you all know that tickets for our next two upcoming shows are now officially on sale! The shows are on April 3rd at Kopec's and on April 17th at the Round House. Go to the "Shows" section of our page to see show details, start times, etc. They are $5 a piece and can be ordered either by messaging us here or through our email address at the top of our page (agrband@gmail.com for those too lazy to click the mouse). We will not offer to meet you or anything crazy like that, just give us your address, pay us through PayPal, and they will be in the mail to your house (or wherever you'd like them sent to). These tickets will not last long, so make sure you order your's today and ensure yourself a place at the shows! Please note, any ticket holders will be taken first at the door in an event of a sell out, so you might not want to wait to get them at the door! So what are you waiting for? Updates!! News and Other Cool Stuff!!
What's up, everyone? We're writing this blog today to update everyone on what we've been up to and to inform you all of some updates! We've been very busy on a lot of cool things and want to give you all the skinny on all of it! Ok, so first and foremost, Thump and I were in the studio today working on our new, upcoming cd! As of today, we have 1 and 3/4 tracks complete and are moving along at a steady pace. We're all pumped about these new tracks and this cd on a whole! It's gonna contain some really good songs and also be very diverse in nature. Please don't think that means syphony music or anything like that! For anyone who was a D.U.I. fan, they will instantly recognize that this cd still has the rocking roots that D.U.I. was well known for, but yet it is a bit different from any songs that D.U.I. played. With Zach as our new drummer, he adds a very new element to the music and it definitely shows in the songs! It has a little bit of everything on it and we think our fans will really enjoy it! On another front, we have a few more shows this upcoming month. To start the month, we have a show at one of our old favorite spots, Kopec's! This is on Easter Eve and promises to be one fun night!! There will be giveaways, food, and best of all, kick ass music!! Don't miss it! On April 17th, we'll be coming back for another round at the Round House in Natrona Heights! This is an all ages show and will be even better than the last one! We have a few new songs and some new tricks up our sleeve, so anyone who caught the last one should definitely be there! Lastly, we're playing a benefit show in Strongstown on Apr.25th. Rock Out Cancer is a day full of music, raffles, and food to help two local cancer patients get the treatment they need! Anyone who wants to come out and show their support will be helping a good cause and getting to see a great day of live music! We will also be getting some new merch in soon, so keep your eyes peeled at shows! And we also have a street team in the works as well, so don't forget to sign up and show your support when it's all ready!
