Solo...again.

Yeah, I'm a solo act again. Just wasn't feeling the gigging scene. No hard feelings between Mark, Ronnie and I...just different goals. The guys have since found a drummer/singer (Steven Coursey). I hope to hear some new tunes from them in the near future. Mark and I are still talking about doing some studio work.

I'm also talking with my old friend, Kevin Baker, about doing some studio collaboration. Kevin is one heckuva musician...I can't wait to see (hear) what we can put together.

New Project

Currently jamming with my friends Mark Moore and Ronnie Amans. We have a show coming up on May 21st. Give us a shout and come on out! Oooo...I rhymed. I should stop doing that. Later.

Cakewalk A-300Pro

Added this toy to the collection a couple weeks back. It's a MIDI controller for those not in the know. My plan is to use it to control the many virtual instruments that I have available in SONAR. Mark sat with me a couple nights after it showed up to take a first dig into the many sounds now at my disposal. Yes, it's time to start writing some new tunes.

Traded the little A-300 Pro on its big brother...the A-800 Pro. More keys. Bigger, stronger, faster. Mark still asks me why I need "both" the Korg and the Cakewalk/Roland every time we practice. I don't think he grasps the idea of bigger is better. LOL
