Hey everyone! I just finished One Spark (crowdfunding festival) here in Jax and GOOD NEWS! I have enough funding to track my next EP! The demo tracks are posted here, on soundcloud, and on my website! Take a listen. I'll be starting tracking around the beginning of June and hoping to have the project done by the end of August. What?! Two years since my last post? Obviously life has been crazy busy! I got MARRIED, y'all! I'm also almost done with the MBA program at UNF...WHEW! So needless to say, my music has been put on the back-burner...but not anymore! I'm in the middle of writing songs for a new album! It'll be my first full-band album in a while! So far, I'm thinking 5 songs... but it could end up being more like 7. So anyway, look out for some new music! Check out my soundcloud account for demos of some of the songs that will be going on the new album, and look out for a February 2015 release!! :)

I'm sitting here at The Jacksonville School of Music just waiting for my next student, so I'll take the time to say hi. I must say, teaching music is one of those things that I never thought I would do, even though my parents are both music teachers. But it turns out it's one of my favorite things (and sometimes one of my least favorite things when they don't practice), and even better, I get paid for it! Pretty cool! That's all for now.

Finally created a reverbnation page...which, by the way, takes kind of a long time. I wrote a little about myself in my bio, but I thought I'd write a little blog to say Hi! If you stumbled across this page, check out the tunes and the video that I've posted. The songs were recorded, mixed, and mastered by my awesome friend, Cory Hawley! I'll be starting a new full-length album, actually probably an LP is more realistic, this coming year, and I'm really looking forward to getting back in the studio. It's in pre-production right now! A little sneak peak: I think I'll call it "Love Song by Brenna Vick." Seems like having a boyfriend for the past 2 years has produced quite a few love songs. :) Don't worry, it's not super cheesy. There are a few other songs in the mix. It's basically an autobiographical album about the last couple years of my life. ANYWAY, I could blabber on about nothing for another paragraph or two, but I'll quit now.
