Elvis & The Goo would like to thank you for dropping by our reverbnation site. Our goal is simple. Become the next President and Vice President of the United States. In our last blog we briefly touched on our campaign promises. The 2 main ones being the price of gas and the other being minimum wage. In this blog Elvis & The Goo will speak on the price of gas and how to lower it.The only thing that would get the oil companies to lower their profit margin on gasoline, is to make a serious effort to nationalize the oil companies the same way the Saudis did as soon as they realized that the oil companies were getting their oil, getting rich off it and ultimately, leave them with nothing when one day the oil ran out.
Before everyone starts hollering socialism, think about this- the oil is a natural resource of our nation- why should we let the oil companies get it, own it, and use it to their benefit and charge us an outrageous price so that they may make an outrageous profit off it, when it does not belong to the oil companies. It belongs to the citizens of this nation, and our government is supposed to be safeguarding our national resources for the future generations to use. Think about this- what if the government let the timber companies cut all the timber off the national forests for their own profit, created a monopoly so they could price gouge us and charge us $50 dollars for a two by four piece of wood. This example is exactly what the oil companies are doing to the U.S. at this very moment.

Read my lips, We are not interested in selling Elvis & The Goo songs for 99cents on Itunes. Thats pathetic.What interest us is your vote. My brother and I would like to ask for your support on Nov 8 2016. Why vote for Elvis & The Goo? Great Quetion! Reverbnation ask yourself are you sick of paying 4 dollars, for a gallon for gas? I think most of us would say yes. Are you sick of having part time jobs because minimum wage in Ohio is only $7.85. Who can live on this? You deserve better!!! Elvis & The Goo have a 5 point plan to get the cost of gas down to a affortable $1.85 a gallon. Yes thats right!! Also we will get the minimum wage rate up nation wide to $18.50. Within the first hundred days in office Elvis & The Goo will achieve this. Our 5 point plan is fail proof. I will go into more detail in my next Blog but it consist of holding the offiice of Comander in Chief.
