Dear Friends and Gentle Hearts,
I've finally returned home after a fabulous and exhausting 40 date European tour, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for making this one of the best seasons of my life as a musician.
Here's to the festival organizers and venue promoters, the wonderful folks who came to the shows with curious ears and dancing shoes laced up, the amazing bands and musicians with whom we shared the stages, the gracious hearts who opened their homes to our little bigtop, and the innumerable weirdos who made life on the road joyful and exhilarating.
And let me not forget the fearless and fiery musicians who joined me onstage every night; Bradley Blackwell, Charlie Tophill, Pete Marshall, Louis Landry, Shea D Broussard, Alex Bertram-Powell and Matthew Rheeston. I don't know what possessed you to throw your lot in with mine, but I thank my lucky stars that you did!
Again, thank you all for making this summer such a blinder. I'll be posting a mess of new European tour dates real soon. See you next time, kids!
