My name is Debra Downing, i am relatively new to the Music world, if you could call 15 years new. But then overnight sensations take about 20 years or so,LOL! I am heavily influenced from the music of the 60's and the 70's. I guess that's when i was the most innocent and life to me was only a world of make believe and cotton candy. My first female artist that i remember vividly having caught my attention was Linda Ronstadt. Although I also love Fleetwood Mac: Stevie nicks ESp. I remember Listening to Hall & Oats "You're Kiss is on My List" and thinking how much I loved music back then end that somehow it would all change. That was right before the DJ's played music only if a $ sign was attached to it. It was a time of the people and I miss that. I Love to sing Soft rock, pop, or country the best.
