My name is Debra Downing, I have always loved music since I was a little girl. It is a part of who I am. I don't think I would have survived very long w/ out music. It has gotten me thru some hard times and it has also blesses my life.My husband and I have been blessed to get to know many talented musicians, thru the Open Mic we ran for 6 years.All good things must come to an end, but we are always looking forward to see what the future holds.   I was born in Lexington, Ky and raised mostly in Cincinnati, Ohio. I live in the Northern, Ky area now and I love it here. I will always have Ky roots. The hardship that people in the south have had to face touches my soul. I would just like to make the world a better place, one song at a time!!  I'll be at open mic at Boswell Alley IN NORTHSIDE every Thursday , And THE BLUE BAR in COVINGTON  every other SAT., starting at 8:00 p.m. and goes until 2:00 a.m.      Thanks to all the fans for currently making me #1 on the Cincinnati local  COUNTRY and POP charts!!!
