ONE DAY REMAINS TO BECOME ROCKSTARS ALONGSIDE NICKELBACK

ONE DAY REMAINS TO BECOME ROCKSTARS ALONGSIDE NICKELBACK South Africa's latest rock act signed to David Gresham Records will get their first taste of rocks big leagues as they are added to the Rock Star Compilation album. One Day Remains will feature amongst some of the biggest names in rock music, namely Nickelback, Yellowcard, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Placebo, Fuel, The Parlotones and many others. One Day Remains is already the talk of the town, having toured and supported Prime Circle on their Rock Heart tour in 2007. The band might seem as though they are making all the right moves, considering that at the start of December last year, they were a little known band out of Tableview in Cape Town. The band signed a three album deal with David Gresham Records that same December and haven't looked back since. Having already recorded thirteen tracks for their forth-coming debut album "Sins, Convictions & Confessions". The album was recorded over a three week period plagued by load shedding during their recording sessions. Eskom couldn't even keep these three guys down, working with hit producer Ziggy at the David Gresham Studio's in Johannesburg, the band were working between power cuts in an intensely unstable environment. These sessions produced the single "How Long" that will feature on the Rock Star compilation available during the first week of April. However contrary to industry norms, the band will be releasing their first official song to radio entitled "The Need" at the end of March. "The Need" is said to have great mainstream appeal and is set to be a big hit on various radio formats according to their label . The Rock Star Compilation is a spin off of Nickelback's global smash hit "Rock Star" and is rumoured to be the first in a series of compilations to be released by David Gresham Records under the same name. David Gresham Records owns the exclusive rights to labels such as Roadrunner Records, Victory Records & Bodog Entertainment and the company is producing the rock goods week in & week out. In recent years, David Gresham Records has pioneered the landscape of South African rock music setting up bands such as Wonderboom, Cutting Jade & Prime Circle, not forgetting the international success of Stingray before them. One Day Remains has what it takes to take SA rock to a whole new level. Look out for this band!
