So, we don't really update our blog much. As we tend not to have time to sleep in between work and the band. How ever in these few brief moments on a sunny Sunday afternoon I thought I would share what we have been up to with the world.
This year has been dead exciting. In between talks with a manager being finalised as official and the gig offers we have confirmed and in the works, we have taken every free second to write new material. Our new EP is getting the first three tracks laid down first weekend of March and we cant wait. We have pushed ourselves musically again to tried to improve on our sound, experimenting with styles and strucutre. The songs we are writing currently are some of the best material I have ever written in my time playing music, and sharing it with everyone in the future, whether live or recorded will be amazing.
Another funny fact about 2012 is the little experiment we have been running. We have tested the 'Buzz' around us on the scene and allowed the first few months to play only gigs we were asked to play. We pretty much booked ourselves up till May including being asked on a tour (yet to be confirmed), which means that when we start booking again we should have even less time to breathe!
This year we have hit the festival scene hard, sending out Press Kits left right and center. So far we have actually not heard anything back, but we are keeping our fingers crossed.
So anyway, this is my little rant over and we hope everyone is having a great new year. Remember to keep listening, keep watching and just send us some love. We have not actually received any 'Official' fan mail as of yet....We reckon there must be at least one loving fan out there!
Or hate mail...we will accept that as well ;)
