Rising from the ashes

As we say goodbye to 2010, I want to thank you for being a music lover and for taking time to consider my music.

The past year has been a very difficult one for many of us and our nation. Rather than be discouraged I am anxious to begin another decade of great music.

I plan to create and perform again after a 2 year hiatus, and to explore and consume great music from others.

We who love, create and perform music are truly blessed. We understand the joy, compassion and freedom that music allows us. While making a living is a necessity, true creators are never about the money, and never have been.

Some people have been extremely fortunate to become very wealthy as a result of their creative endeavors. Bravo! It is my hope for the next decade that creative people of all types will be valued and appreciated, and of course, receive fair compensation for their work.

We are all in this together and the future of our culture is in our hands. Celebrate your uniqueness and your passions, you are totally worth it!

Wishing you many blessings and happiness in the new year, bethie r
