I just added a rough version of "Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus" we did quite a while ago to use at Amy's sister's wedding. I added a little orchestration and voices and a baritone guitar.

Just uploaded a beta version of "Song of Songs". Recorded with my Martin D35 it is simple and sweet. Amy added a basic harmony on the choruses. This song is a romantic because the book "Song of Songs" in the Bible is also the ultimate romantic. The love of Christ for the Church is poetically expressed as human love and there is no deeper, sacrificial love. We will be finalizing it and adding to our upcoming CD along with many other songs from the heart of Fingerpost. Enjoy!
UPDATE 11-23-17 Just added an updated version with cello and strings to add sweet richness to the mix. I hope it romanticizes you. : ))

The two songs currently listed from Fingerpost may have you wondering if they are really from the same band. Well, the answer is yes they are. We mostly perform simple unplugged acoustic versions of our music with occasional exceptions, such as "Journey Song Reprise" which will show the musical explorations/experiments of guitarist Jeff Hise and his studio exploits side. It's good to show musical diversity, but not to the point where people may wonder what you are really about. The majority of our themes are poetic reflections on biblical Christianity... we find there is nothing more beautiful to write about.
