May 2010: After a long hitatus we here at Quartered have finally come into our own. We knuckled down, got our asses in gear and wrote a new record. It took about 2 months of solid writing, rewriting, testing, changing, moulding, and ALOT of Old Milwauke Beer to come up with the perfect combination of Progressive Metal with catchy hooks.......We named it Walks like a Ghost. We are very proud of this new creation and come July 2010 it will be released upon the world. With worldwide Digital distribution as well as a link to Universal Canada, it will be release under Thorny Bleeder Records.
So far this year we have recorded the new record at Mushroom Studios, Mixed at Hipposonic under the careful ear of producer Ben Kaplan, the band decided to embark on a once in a lifetime oppurtunity........Pulp Summer Slam 2010 with Lamb of God and Testament, in Manila Philippines. 2 15 hour plane rides, 7 AWESOME shows, our first stadium gig for 35,000 people, alot of new friends and some great new contacts, Quartered returned home to get on the release of the new album, and yet another tour...this time across our fair country (and Vastly wide) Canada. We will be hopping in the van, gear and merch ready, and heading out on the road July 8th, and we wont be home for a month. Vancouver to Montreal....and back of course, 10,000km, alot of metal, and some sleep in between. QUartered is BACK, and this time, its kickin ass n' Takin names....mainly YOURS!!!!
