DRI show from May 11th 2012

We are writing this in response to some way off comments made by some folks on line and else where about our appearance at the DRI show in Trenton Friday May 11th. We will now take the time and list point by point.

1. Foreign Object (FO) played a full set and received many accolades. If folks were upset about anything we played it was hard to hear them through all the other people singing along during our set and then congratulating us after we played. 2. The alleged brawl started long after we played an awesome set. In fact, an entire other band played. All though I cannot remember their name but they brought allot of silly string. 3. FO did play one Skrewdriver cover (Anti Social) This track was of their All Skrewed Up 1977 album and has nothing to with their later more political material. Do a search for the album and lyrics and read for yourself. 4. FO is in no way affiliated with a gang of any type. If gang members enjoy the music WTF are we supposed to do about it?! Their gang members. If we had a following of cops would that make us love bacon? 5. FO was not involved in the alleged brawl and indeed some members tried in vain to keep the peace. Perhaps this where confusion set in? 6. No one (other than our singer who hurt himself on stage) in FO was harmed. 7. No one in FO attempted to run anyone over. 8. No one representing the bar or booking agent asked us to leave. We left on our own because we did not want any involvement in whatever was going on. It's just that simple.

So to sum up.

None of the members of FO were involved in the alleged brawl nor did any of its members including the drummer get 'beat down'. The declaration of patron dislikes is 100% false. We remember clearly multiple strangers saying "you guys are my new favorite band" and we warmly embrace those folks no matter who they are. Assumptions based on facebook research should not only be listed under immature behavior but underdeveloped neural activity. FO has not now, nor have we ever stood for any one set of political, racial,or religious affiliation. We embrace punk,oi, thrash, styles of music in all forms from whoever plays it well. The truth behind whatever really started the alleged brawl may never be known as all involved appeared very intoxicated.

FO regrets that we were implicated in the unfortunate events that transpired that evening and that we missed seeing DRI. We have no apology to offer as we feel we as a band and as individuals we were not to blame.

These are the facts boys and girls. We were actually there.
