After a well earned break we hit the stage again appearing at both The Sid James Scooter Rally and The White Cliffs Weekender.
First up was the Sid James Rally held in Leysdown. An event that gets bigger and better each year. Outside in sunny but blustery conditions, we powered through a 50 minute set closing on (as usual Dirty Mary)...for an encore we played the current single (and new album inclusion), Got to Know Your Name. It was the first time we had all suffered from sun and wind burn at the same time.....
Next up was the inaugural White Cliffs Weekender organised by the Real Deal Scooter Club and held just outside Deal in a quaint village named Finglesham. This was a top event and even the constant downpour didn't stop those in attendance enjoying themselves. Luckily the rain stopped an hour before the bands started and we were greeted with sunshine and blue sky. We delivered a solid set that included crowds favourite 'Dirty Mary' and chant along classic 'Down in the Tube Station at Midnight (our only cover)....
These were two fantastic rallies and the 3 of us would like to thank the organisers for making them such a success and of course for asking us to participate. Cheers!
Now we focus on finishing the album over the summer...we have one more day recording in the studio and then July and August will be spent finalising the finer details. This will allow us to go into September suited and booted with new album in hand....we are already booked for gigs in the west Midlands but please check back from time to time for more info....until September, Mr. Bridger will be Out for Tea....Love, Happiness and Respect x
