In the summer of 2008, four buddies from high school formed South Florida's alt-rock scene fixtures Caution Automatic. The bands eclectic mix of Beatlesque songwriting played with a fierce punk attitude and just enough psychedelic prowess gives them their own distinct sound.
Their self-titled debut, recorded in 1998, received heavy rotation on South Florida rock stations and helped break the band into the local scene. Tragedy struck when founding member Jose Feliciano (bass) passed away in March 2002 ending his long battle with pulmonary hyper-tension. Brought even closer together by the loss, the band forged on and finished their second album, Tuscan Tongue in 2005. Their latest album, Rumpelstiltskin was released in 2008.
The band is Emmanuel Canete (vocals, guitars and keyboards), Eric Mix (bass) and Liron Gozlan (drums).
