Biography:

Down Stroke L.L.C. is a professional high energy rock band based out of Chattanooga, TN and is one of the most requested “party bands” on the Southeastern Circuit. Formed in 2006 by front man Justin Time, the band has quickly developed a large fan base spanning several states across the southeast and up into the Midwest as well. In 2010 Down Stroke performed 186 shows and plans to up that to around 220 in 2011 playing everywhere from Key West, FL to Ft Wayne, IN.

Down Stroke prides themselves on their live performances and high energy stage show which packs fans into venues early and keeps them there until the final encore is complete. “We are dedicated to doing everything in our power to connect and interact with our fans during our shows and making sure everyone goes home at the end of the night with a smile on their face.”, says singer Justin Time. The band is quickly amassing a very impressive light show which they now travel with which adds so much to the visual aspect of their live performance.

Down Stroke is one of very few professional cover bands on the circuit that chooses to stick exclusively to cover songs and does not perform any “original” songs. “We realize that people come to our shows to have fun and sing along to all their favorite party type songs so that’s what we give them.”, comments bassist Jay Bradshaw…”We don’t want to force our original material on our fans and have them just standing there not knowing the words or able to sing along.” Lead guitarist Bert Wallace and drummer Kari Murphy agree….”We strive to perform the most popular party type rock songs and fan favorites from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and today’s artists so that we can connect with almost anyone in attendance and insure everyone has a great time!”
