Biography:

Having been classically trained as pianists at a young age brothers Christian and John de Jesus, and their good friend Jaime Dela Rosa have always enjoyed playing and experimenting with different genres of music. Although their musical foundation is based in the classical arts, in recent years, the brothers have explored and performed a wide variety of music such as jazz, r&b, hip hop, pop, dance, and alternative. Their many talents and accomplishments have provided them with opportunities for performing at various stages such as Philippine Consulate and the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Based in Long Island, New York, BASSMENT PRODUCTIONS, originally known as DJ Brothers, was formed in January 2006. The idea of becoming a music production team originated in the summer of 2005 during a vacation to the Philippines. Visiting a local radio station in the province of Legaspi, they met a music producer and trained pianist who created music for various artists and commercials. They were so impressed with the capabilities of the synthesizer that they decided to purchase one as soon as they returned to the US and so their passion and devotion for the art of music flourished and continued to evolve.
