Rev. Bubba D. Liverance & the Cornhole Prophets are a rowdy rock 'n soul band based in Auburn, Alabama. The debut album "Let My Peoples Dance" was critically acclaimed in Billboard Magazine and had two chart topping singles "That's What You Do" and "Mo' Better" along with 2 nominations for Group Album of the Year by the Cammy Awards. Also, from the same album, the song "If You Can't Shag, Get Your Ass Out of Carolna" has become a "beach music" classic and was placed into the Beach Music Hall of Fame by flagship radio station 94.9 the Surf.
The sophmore album "Watermelon Fields Forever" is scheduled for release in late 2010. Two advance singles are already garnering attention and airplay, "Come Back Baby" and "Shagland". Being true "road warriors" the band tours constantly with their power packed dynamic live performances.
“#1 on Chart!!!”
Cashbox Charts - Cashbox Chart Top 40
“This is a band that thinks music should be real, should be live and should reach people. They haven't got a message, other than enjoy yourself and let your feet do the talking. You can call the music rock and roll, funk, soul, rhythm & blues, or even country.”

“Celebrating the common man is exactly what much of this music does, as all good rock and soul should. The title track is a hymn for the working people of America, sounding like Bruce Springsteen if he was backed by the Blues Brothers.”
Billboard Publicity Wire
“In the end I highly recommend this disc to anybody who likes music at all. Rev Bubba & The Cornhole Prophets just have an honest sound that's very appealing, singable and just about anybody can dance to it, except me, I never could dance”
J. Simpson - AntiMusic.com
“A funky fusion of ‘70s rock and roll with a hefty sense of humor and plenty of classic melodies, the Reverend’s first album has brought some deliverance to all who prefer a yard-beer to a martini”
