This includes such artists as Patty Griffin, Amos Lee, Gillian Welch, Mary Gauthier, Lucinda Williams, Neko Case, Norah Jones, Howlin Wolf, Dr. John, Emmy Lou Harris, Sheryl Crow, Eva Cassidy, Mavis Staples and Townes Van Zandt. She is currently working on a full-length CD, writing new songs and playing live shows both in and outside of New York.
“Brooklyn-based songwriter Rachel Lee Walsh recently made a startling disclosure: "I’m going to go on record saying this…it’s possible that I see dead people." That explains the chill that runs laps around your spine when you listen to her simple, haunting songs. Stories unfold, slowly and with a dark sense of inevitability; although her native Jacksonville, Florida is a state or two East of the great Southern writers, she's clearly steeped in that tradition. Tonight, she's part of the Knitting Factory's "Rock and Popcorn Series." Join Walsh and nine other songwriters for an evening of brisk solo sets — perfect for winding down after work.

"An exlusive song titled OH LORD, which is a delectable treat that can't be found anywhere else in the world!"

"The way she writes songs is from the perspective of wanting to tell a human story, and this is the way I do my podcast. Her writing is both clever and simple."
