I'll be playing this Saturday as a duo with guitarist David Patterson at 8pm. Also on the bill that night are some really amazing artists that I'm excited to be playing with, including Zeke Healy, Tania Elizabeth, and Andy Stack. I know you'll love them too. This is truly one of my favorite venues to play in NYC and I think it's one of the best places to hear music in the city so I think you just should head on down there this Saturday. Rachel Lee Walsh w/David Patterson 8pm www.RachelLeeWalsh.com "Rachel Lee Walsh is a New York City based singer and songwriter with a big soulful voice who performs country and blues influenced folk songs and has been known to have an unhealthy obsession with any vintage dresses and shoes she can get her hands on" Zeke Healy 9pm http://www.myspace.com/zekehealy "Zeke Healy plays on a seventy year-old metal guitar with a glass slide. The sound of the instrument alone will stop you in your tracks, but even more, his compositions explore the simple melodic beauty of traditional music from every continent. Healy was also a founding member of the Appalachian/no-wave group The Boggs and a contributor to Brooklyn Browngrass and The Dogwoods. This is National Steel Guitar as you've never heard it before - not to be missed. - Bethany Ryker Tanya Elizabeth and Andy Stack 10pm http://taniaelizabeth.com/ http://www.andystack.net/ "Tania Elizabeth’s sound on the fiddle is unmistakable no matter what genre is playing. You hear the ghostly bowing, the electric, Hendrix-inspired wails, the driving set of tunes and know that it comes from a young woman deeply rooted in Traditional music who isn’t afraid to take it to the edge. Tania plays from time to time with The Duhks and Mary Gauthier as well her own group, The Tania Elizabeth Trio." http://www.andystack.net/ "With his guitar in hand, Andy has toured the US several times, played throughout Europe, and showcased his skills in festivals from Bonnaroo to the Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals. Andy has toured/recorded with such noted performers as Jonah Smith, Les Nubians, NY Ska Jazz Ensemble, Duncan Sheik, Suzanne Vega and others. He’s also opened for artists including Martin Sexton, Madeline Peyroux, Little Feat,Los Lobos, Charlie Hunter, Taj Mahal, among others. Recently Andy has opened for Dar Williams and Guy Davis in support of his most recent solo record, Like A Light"

Great Tracks :)
"Please come to Brooklyn" simply a pop masterpiece. Love the natural reverb achieved vocally with a chord structure weaving so comfortably in a multi-lateral sense. It's re...
