The Stillwells are a pop / indie band from Newcastle, UK and are the culmination of Regan Von Doom’s long (but ultimately underground) solo songwriting career. From 2000 Regan produced a number of EP’s and LP’s under various pseudonyms - John Whitaker the 3rd, Donell Carlton, Victor Von Doom to name a few.
In early 2008 Lola Rainbows recorded the specially written track In Jessica’s Room to feature on The Stillwells LP No More Superheroes. After hearing the track, Gavin Wins! joined The Stillwells to rewrite and rerecord the No More Superheroes album. After a brief stint as a full band, The Stillwells have returned to their acoustic roots, however their fuller sound will return in their glorious future.
