“Starboy Induction EP You didn't know party pill advocate Matt Bowden (a.k.a Starboy) was also a musician did you? These four tracks are a mix of low key dance, funk and rock - with trippy effects permeating much of it. I was skeptical prior to hearing it, as it's virtually impossible to separate public figures (like Bowden) from your prior perception of them. There is some good live musicianship though, especially the guitars (Matt's pretty handy with a six string). T'm guessing these tunes are the sound of Starboy coming down from a fair few good nights out. The funky 'Can You Feel It' is my pick.”
