This reveals a story of how a White teacher won the hearts of his Black students and maintained a friendship that runs from 1972 to now.

Getting Hip in New York's Big Apple during the 70's, MKM founder L.A. Jackson Hopped to the left coast in 1980 to study computers but found out about the oncoming beat box, synthesizer and sampling age through songs like "Rapper's Delight" (TSHG) and "The Message" (GMF&TFF) - if ya haves to ask.......
Working at record stores and then recording studios, L.A. ended up in the ATL at Georgia State University, which led to working at CBS Records - it later became Sony Music. Marketing and promoting literally everything that was released on COLUMBIA, COLUMBIA JAZZ, EPIC, DEF JAM, JMJ (R.I.P.),CHRYSALIS, T-NECK, WORD,  Okeh, and more, L.A. Jackson launched hundreds of marketing campaigns over a 10 year period.
