Bio: Social Events, Opening Times, Bar & Restaurant The Club has a well-stocked bar run by our steward, Neville. We are also privileged to have an on-site restaurant – Kilby’s – for use by members & their guests. The clubhouse is open when the bar is open. For opening times see below. To complement our wide range of water sports activities, Torpoint Mosquito offers a wide range of social activities for all ages. These range from a weekly quiz night on Thursday evenings, a children’s Christmas party, St Piran’s and St Patrick’s night parties and a fantastic three-day beer festival every May with an extensive range of beers, ales and ciders and live music every day. There is a wild and scary annual Halloween Monster’s Ball every October, a legendary New Year’s Eve bash and an annual family fun weekend raising funds for St Luke’s Hospice. In the winter there are regular sailing talks and demos open at all. The Club boasts darts, snooker and pool teams and we show all the big matches on our big screens in the bar. Finally we have an annual Christmas draw in aid of club funds with tickets at only 10p each giving you the chance to win one of a fabulous range of prizes. Get your tickets over the bar.
