Bio: In cooperation with the National Park Service, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year, Tiny Porch Concerts will be presenting a series of summer concerts at the Peter Strauss Ranch. “Each month, June through September, we will offer new musical talent at the intimate, iconic Peter Strauss Ranch, which is now part of the National Park Service. It will be like a smaller, rustic version of the Hollywood Bowl without the traffic and with plenty of free parking.” The concerts are scheduled for May 8, June 12, July 10, August 20, and September 10. Each Tiny Porch performance will be donation based with the proceeds going to the artists and the venue. People are encouraged to bring their own blankets or low-back chairs, picnic before or during the concerts, and explore the Peter Strauss Ranch. In addition to the concerts, Tiny Porch will feature a Mountain Jam Workshop before each main show to allow guests to bring their own instruments and get pointers on “jamming” from local musicians.
