Bio: Thank You for your interest in Mike's Big Deck. MBD is a group of Friends and neighbors who like to throw Summer parties on Lake Willis near Sea World. While we usually have several small events during the year, with 1-2 live bands, we are most known for our Big Balls. We were proud to host seven live acts on three stages during for our 2013 Peace Day event. As a private non-ticketed venue, our budgets are small. Specifically, our flat rate for live music is $100 per performer for 2-3 sets ( standard 3-man band = $300 ). While embarrassingly low, it is worth noting that we have never had a band that was unwilling to return...some have even offered to play for free ( we still pay of course ). If You and/or your band is interested in booking one of our events, we encourage You to attend as a Guest first. Check out the vibe and crowd to ensure it's a right fit for You.
