Bio: Proprietor Marty McCarrick originated the McCharacter Band in 1978, in Lake Orion, Michigan. McCharacters was a household name, and whether the group played at the local clubs or out in an arena in front of thousands, people came together to listen to a little rock n roll and some peace, love and happiness! In the 80's The McCharacters toured and released a hit album called "Share the News", which aquired large acclaim in the United States as a top 40 rock band. In the early 90's McCharacters started to have little McCharacters of their own, so they settled down and the tour bus stopped. Marty and his wife Kerry then pursued the restaurant business, opening several in Michigan and South Florida. Little did they know, as they were becoming restauranteurs, their children were on their way to forming their own band with their talents. Destiny, who began singing at the age of 8, is now a seasoned singer and musician, Joey is a gifted songwriter, keyboard player and singer and Jake is versatile on the guitar and drums and has a big voice and unique rhythm of his own. The world is a happy place, as the McCharacters live on! Together the family pursues their dreams of combining their love of music and restaurant to form a winning combination in a fun filled family sports environment to make McCharacter's once again a family household name!
