Bio: “Live From Music City” reaches and appeals to singers/musicians who have acheived at least mid-level entry points in their careers. We try to help the artists define the steps they need to take to advance their careers. We’ll discuss a variety of topics through commentary and with guests to showcase their roles within the performing and recording industry. We’ll also focus on the music business from the perspective of service to the artist, as well as how the artist can acheive the next levels of success. While we concentrate on the roles of the ‘insiders,’ we will also include recording artists themselves to better understand and explore the relationship between the two. Keeping this in mind, musicians and bands that would like to submit themselves to be on “Live From Music City”, should be making a full time living as a musician/band so that they can share their success stories and tips as to how they are achieving the “Next” level. The more experience you have, the more likely to get booked as this show isn’t about showcasing the artist as much as it is about sharing your knowledge and giving back to your music community. Please be playing at least 80 shows a year, other positives would be a label deal, management, charting or charted singles, or a past history of success on some level.
