Bio: Katies Of Smithtown has been operating since Jan 2000 , Katies is known to feature some of the areas best musicians and regularly features world famous players and members and former members of bands such as Black Sabbath, The Trans Siberian Orchestra, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Blue Oyster Cult and Queen just to name a few. We feature a house PA that is top notch and has been called the best sounding room on the Northshore. Katies has 2 floors and 2 bars and a outside patio with a Tiki bar that is used in the warmer months. We now feature a California style food truck, We also cater in as needed for special events. Katies Of Smithtown has been featured on many television shows, Books, and local newspapers for its paranormal activity. We also host fund raisers and private events. We are booking bands with good followings for weekend slots. We are also booking new, original and other acts that want to showcase or audition their acts on Weds, Mondays and Sundays. If you want a weekend date remember that we are a venue and you must a strong following, we do offer stage time to new bands on weekdays and weekend days, In most cases with bands that have never played Katies we will do a door deal for the band.
