Bio: The young rising star Hussam Aseem (aka “flipp” or “fliperachi”) aged 21, is recognized as being one of the few passionate and devoted Arab rappers in Bahrain and the Middle East as a whole. Although his culture divides between those of Bahrain and Morocco, flipp is guaranteed to consider the mentalities and narrow-minded beliefs of those around him and convert this energy into a motivational drive to voice his certain situations, feelings or emotions. Flipp’s first discovered his sheer passion for music at the age of only 12 years old “I like all kinds of music, but when I started to understand that music was about the taste to one , I eventually discovered that my main “taste” was the Hip Hop flavor in 1998” He says. In 2003, Flipp was already developing his skills into a higher level. Determined to do something with what he had, he would not let his music be gone with the wind. “I started doing my own music since 2003 by rhyming any word coming through my mind and relating the subject to a specific topic with meaningful terms” Flipp’s main influences of the time were artists such as Tupac Shakur and BoneThugs and Harmony. He felt as though this type of music had influenced him in a positive way. he said “They were voicing meaningful things, but people weren’t picking up on it!” It is clear that his urge to voice his thoughts and opinions were sky high from an early age. This characteristic then became a key to Flipp as he paid close attention to the different harmonic and lyrical ideas-manipulating them – until he found his own techniques to work with: “I felt I could control sound by mastering the flow of music” In 2008, Flipp has joined Outlaw Productions- The leading Hip Hop organization in Bahrain. He has achieved several performances and is working on a music album featuring other artists on his team. Flipp’s plans to keep his music going, whether in main frame, or just as a hobby. “My music can’t stop” He says.
