Bio: "La Fiesta de la Música" or "The World Music Day" is an international event initiated in France to celebrate music. It alredy takes place in more than 120 countries all over the world, including Mexico. Our goal is to establish this anual tradition in Los Cabos. The event takes place on June 21, summer solstice and largest day of the year and was designed to promote music and offer an open space for artists to express freely and give the comunity an opportunity to listen to different musical proposals. It is a totally free festival and a celebration of music that shows the diversity of music genres as all types of music are welcome and proffesional or amateur musicians are invited to participate. The 21st of June is a day dedicated to music, and also a day of solidarity and fun where the comunity gathers in a cultural and social event, in the streets. "The World Music Day" in Los Cabos needs a strong effort in promotion in order to become a tradition, to be celebrated year after year and achieve the level it has reached in many other countries where people can walk through the streets, enjoy themselves and discover new talents. "The World Music Day" makes no distinction of social classe or cultural differences, foreigners and Mexicans can come together, enjoy its positive energy, and help Transform a Regular Day into a Grand Event Join us this 21st of June in the Plaza Mijares, in San José del Cabo!
