Bio: Born February 2006, Dirty South is a refreshing escape from chain-pub mentality and a laid back, favourite haunt of London and Kent’s music community. It is here that the great and the glorious come to perform or present regular live music events. Dirty South is the place to party, to see the most exciting new bands, enjoy a late weekend night out or even to come and jam on stage, open mic style. There's a wide range of cool drinks and warm welcomes at South East London’s 300 capacity premier music venue. Artists that have performed at Dirty South inc: Babyshambles, Athlete, Alabama 3, The Rifles, The Metros, Dogs, Kid British, Terry Hall (The Specials), Mani (Stone Roses/Primal Scream), Dirty Pretty Things, Andy Rourke & Mike Joyce (The Smiths) and a selection of the movers & shakers putting the thriving South London scene on the international music map. Our name and regular club nights provide a platform to nurture and showcase a host of emerging new bands & DJs.
