Bio: Night in the 40s Big Band Dance “A Night in the 40’s” Big Band Dance, March 20, 2010, The Commemorative Air Force Aircraft Museum, 2017 N. Greenfield Rd., Falcon Field Airport in Mesa. WW II 1940’s Musical Show performed by The Kathy Donald Jazz Ensemble. Dance to Big Band Music performed by the Sun Lakes Big Band Orchestra. Ticket prices $35.00 per person purchased in advance, $40.00 per person day of event. Tickets available at the Commemorative Air force Arizona Wing Aircraft Museum, 2017 N. Greenfield Rd. Mesa, or online at www.bigbanddance.com. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Show starts at 5:30pm. Dancing 7:30pm till 11:00pm. B-17 Flying Fortress Sentimental Journey on display. Commemorative Air Force Arizona Wing Aircraft Museum is located at Falcon Field Airport on the corner of Greenfield and McKellips Road in Mesa. The Commemorative Air Force Arizona Wing Aircraft Museum displays and flies a variety of aircraft from WW I - Vietnam, including the B-17G Flying Fortress Sentimental Journey, B-25, C-45, SNJ, F4 Phantom, Migs and other warbirds. Experience a flight back with a warbird ride in the B-17, SNJ or C-45. On display are authentic artifacts and memorabilia from WWII-Vietnam. Our unique facility boasts 30,000 sq.-ft. surrounded by combat aircraft from WWI-Vietnam plus gift shop.
