Bio: Immortalized in the writings of Ernest Hemingway among others, the revolving Carousel Bar is a part of New Orleans history. A favorite of New Orleans locals, it has a wild circus motif and is often filled with colorful local characters telling stories about Hotel Monteleone and our celebrated city. In 2011 the Carousel Bar experienced an enhancement consisting of expansive windows along Royal Street, and a raised ceiling to add to the ambiance of the bar.
