Bio: The Backspace Network is created by Backspace, an organisation based in the Netherlands that promotes and organises events. The idea of the Backspace Network is to provide and maintain a network of fellow electronic music&art lovers as well as other promoters, audio-/visual-artists, producers, dj's, vj's, sound systems, labels, etc. that are somehow connected to the world of 'intelligent' electronic music and (audio-/visual) art. Our main musical focus lies on genres as: IDM, experimental and electro-acoustics, tekno, breakcore, breaks, breakbeats, dubstep, grime, psy-trance, Drum&Bass, electro, trip hop, certain types of house, downtempo and ambient soundworks and (or in fusion with) live-/world-/classical/jazz-musicians, bearing in mind the world's old and various ways of making music. please do join the Backspace network on http://www.backspacenetwork.com when the new website is online.
