Bio: Arneson River Theatre is a 800-seat amphitheatre on the banks of the San Antonio Riverwalk, with entrances to La Villita Historic Arts Village. The audience sits on the grass-covered steps on the south side. There is handicap access at the top row. The amphitheatre side includes a concession stand, an upstairs AV room, and box seating for VIP guests. On the north side is a beautiful stage with air-conditioned dressing rooms, restrooms and stage lights. The Arneson River Theatre is home to the world-famous Fiesta Noche del Rio http://www.fiestanochesa.com/, and is also used for folkloric and other dance groups, music concerts, choral performances, plays, opera and wedding ceremonies. It was also the backdrop in Sandra Bullock's 2000 comedy "Miss Congeniality."
