Bio: 2012 was the last year we hosted the African American Cultural Arts Festival in Jacksonville. We still believe that this type of Festival is important and not just to the African American community but to the city as a whole. Not only does this Festival celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the African American people, in the areas of art, music and history it also showcases the cultural flavor and history of our city and surrounding areas. During the three years that we hosted the Festival, we enjoyed excellent support and we are grateful. Grateful not just for the support, but for all of the awesome people we met and worked with, locally and from around the country. All the talent, great food and that community feeling is what it’s all about. However, Festival planning and production is expensive and time consuming. So for now, we are taking a step back from the Festival until we can again dedicate ourselves to bringing you a quality event. The website will remain with pictures from previous Festivals and information about new projects. Thank You for the support and the memories We will continue to be active in the community so look for events sponsored by JAACAF, Inc.
