Bio: BOOKING NOTE: Please submit your profile EPK here for review but send a PRIVATE message to our facebook Inbox: https://www.facebook.com/espressojoes Founded in February of 2004 by friends who wanted to do something else other than playing PC games and watching TV but still have time for playing PC games and watch TV. They soon realized it was more work than they realized. They've watched countless people spill coffee onto thier carpet, put gum under the tables and encountered a slew of very talented singer/songwriters. The coffee is the best on the block, maybe even better than across the street. They politely greet customers more often than they kick them out. They are the ONLY original music scene in Northern Monmouth County(NJ). Some of the notable acts who've passed through our little shop: Jon Caspi, George Wirth, April Smith, Jerzy Jung, Quincy Mumford, Matt Wade, Joe D'Urso, Christine Martucci, Eryn Shewell, Rick Barry, Ali Moss, Elana Arian, Helena & Maria, Lizanne Knott, Charlotte Sometimes(Jessie Poland), Bess Rodgers, Laura Warshauer, Cara Salimando and many more. Some of them enjoy spilling things on our carpet and they continue to come back. Open 7 days a week. 7:30am on weekdays, 8:30am on weekend. Closing is whenever the last customer leaves. We're not just coffee, we sell bottled water too! We're a small-ish acoustic venue that provides a great listening atmosphere. We like to keep it reasonably quiet during shows. All shows are non paying however you can sell CDs/Merch. All shows are Free to the public however we think it is reasonable if all audience members purchased a drink (Latte/Chai/Cappuccino/Coke/Pepsi/etc...). PA includes a 10 channel Allen & Heath, Carvin Speakers, 4- e 835 Sennheiser mics, cables, etc. We prefer not to have electric guitars or amps but an electric bass is ok if plugged into our PA. We cannot accommodate a full drum set but a very small setup of one drum and one symbol may be ok. Please confirm all setups with the Booking before arriving.
