About the Artist

Swindlefish is an electrifying rock band formed in 2003 by Ben Barnes, Mikey McKevitt, and Lizie Skow. Later, Ben's brother Josh joined the band on guitar, and they often hire bass players and drummers for their electric rock gigs. However, most of the time, they play acoustic original rock, which sets them apart from other bands in their genre. Their first album, an electric rock album, was recorded in Portland, Oregon, in 2004. Their second album, an acoustic rock collection, was recorded in 2012 and is a testament to their versatility and musical talent. Currently, Ben is working on writing a third album and hopes to raise funds for a new project by 2024. Based in San Francisco, Swindlefish has performed at numerous venues, including the DNA Lounge, Bayview Boat Club, and New Farm. Their high-energy performances and unique sound have won them a dedicated following among music lovers in the San Francisco area and beyond.
