This band has decided to change the world with music. With lyrics as hard hitting as Bob Marley's: the frontman playing the bass like Flea & singing like Jim Morrison; the guitar player elegantly emulating a post-modern Hendrix; the drummer nothing short of the herd of elephants otherwise known as John Bonham: together they resemble a perfect sonic thunderstorm with their intense stage antics. They seem to have taken the classical rock sound of the sixties' psychedelic revolution & updated it a splash of contemporary funk-rock & reggae.
In their own words, THE GARVIES BAND plan to "Open the doors to the mindset of the masses & reveal those flaws in the structures of society that have kept the people divided & conquered for centuries through the medium of hip-swinging music.."
What follows will surely be referred to by future witnesses as one of the key events to trigger the next phase of humanity: a harmonious breakdown of separation ideals & a move towards worldwide peace & unity.
